Vessel Oil & Fluid Analysis

Regular Fluid Analysis Maximizes the Reliability of Your Vessel

Predictive maintenance extends the life of marine equipment. With better data on performance, you can eliminate guesswork, identify problems early, and resolve issues before they impact you.

With Vessel Vanguard Fluid Analysis, the fluids are analyzed, digitally captured, and automatically integrated into the Vessel Vanguard app where the results remain available and can be accessed at any time.

Basic Analysis

Maintenance professionals concerned with the condition of their oil usually opt for the basic analysis that includes the testing required to detect normal equipment wear and lubricant contamination.

Advanced Analysis

The advanced analysis is usually chosen by experienced maintenance professionals and adds oxidation, base number, and nitration tests. These additional tests are used to determine the maximum drain interval.

Coolant Analysis

Coolant testing is available with high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ion chromatography (IC). HPLC testing will report on carboxylic organic acids and azoles while IC testing reveals glycol degradation, contamination, and the presence of coolant inhibitors nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate.
